North Macedonia is located in the Balkan region of Europe and borders Bulgaria, Kosovo, Greece, Serbia and Albania. We visited in beautiful Ohrid, a UNESCO-inscribed town on the banks of Lake Ohrid, one of Europe’s oldest and deepest lakes. Super scenic and an incredibly popular summer destination, the lake is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
