
Malaysia is a country in Southeast Asia that is popular with the digital nomad crowd. Best known for its beaches, rainforests and melting pot of cultures, its capital, Kuala Lumpur, is a gleaming cosmopolitan city – one of the fastest-growing in Asia. It has some of the tallest skyscrapers in the world, including Merdeka 118, which is second only to Burj Khalifa in Dubai.
We first came to Malaysia in 2023 and immediately jumped into a food tour to become acquainted with their cuisine. We found it similar to Singapore, with Malay, Indian, Chinese and Indonesian influences.
