Our arrival into Hong Kong was itself a celebration. Aboard the Viking Orion, it was her maiden visit to the city; therefore she received a water cannon salute by the escorting tug. The gesture added a measure of drama to an already dramatic setting, with scores of gleaming high rise towers dominating the skyline in almost every direction.
