We visited Egypt in 2022. We were in Alexandria for two days, and from there we went to Cairo and the Great Pyramids of Giza. We visited the Egyptian Museum in Cairo and it was filled with lots of artifacts and antiquities, but the new Grand Egyptian Museum, or GEM, is set to open in 2023 and it promises to be amazing. I look forward to checking it out. In 2024 we are returning to Egypt on a cruise, and we will be sailing down the Nile River to Luxor.
